DryRobe for dog walking?

Anyone have them?
I’ve seen the kids wear them for sports tournaments etc to keep warm and dry.
I need something for dog walks. Just wondering if these would be a good idea.
Any thoughts?

Not sure what a dry robe is but we have an equafleece for our dog. Lightweight but warm. Keeps him dry and mud free. Simple to wash and dry. I love ours

Not unless you'd consider it OK to wear a dressing gown to the supermarket!

More seriously, they're pretty costly, you could surely get a warm waterproof walking jacket for less than a dry robe.

I have a DryRobe (am an open water swimmer), and much as it is fantastic for puppy night trips to the garden as I can pull it on as I run down the stairs and be warm, waterproof and decent, its not something I'd wear to walk the dog as the wind goes up the sleeves and it is too flappy. Unless you have another need for it, spend the money on a Stadium Squall from Lands End which is warm, waterproof and covers most of you

Thank you so much. Appreciate your comments. Yes I agree probably not the right thing.
I’m just so fed up with this rain.

Incredibly popular here for beach, cross country etc but I haven’t even noticed them as a dog walking thing. Given how much they cost I think you could get a good quality waterproof that would be more suitable.

I love my dry robe but wouldn’t wear it for dog walks with the wind.
