We use kibble taken from her daily allowance. Whatever treat you use, make sure that you reduce the other food comparatively. Not all dogs are food driven so use simple treats at first. Then if they don’t work, liver cake, sausages, saveloy or cheese. Avoid the biscuits or snacks as they are just empty calories.

I use a variety (though everything is dependant on what does it for your puppy). I like to use really frequent treats for pups, so use natural treats for these - dried sprats, dried chicken/liver/beef heart (I buy from Treats2Sit4) broken up into little bits. But for recall training, I want to make it super worthwhile for them to come back, so its liver paste (Arden Grange do one in a tube), or cut up hot dog sausage as a jackpot treat so they don't get much.

Ours won’t do much for his kibble
We buy Harrington’s grain free treats and cut each small one into a million tiny pieces for lower value stuff

High value for like puppy classes or in the park when we really need him to pay attention to us we go for chicken breast, hot dogs or Lilly’s kitchen do beef burgers, chicken jerky etc that we cut into little pieces

Hell do anything for hot dog but I worry about giving him too much hence mixing in the other stuff!
