Anybody know what this on base of dog's claw?

Will take ddog to vets tomorrow but there's this smallish, sore lump with bleeds if you knock it. It seems to be very much attached to claw/foot but I wondered if it is an embedded grass seed?

It's pale from the side.

Both of my Yorkies have gotten grass seeds/foxtails in their paws before and it didn't look like that at all.

Ok, so not a seed - any other ideas.

Is it a tick?

Possibly - but it looks like more it's a part of her/her skin than something stuck in it - there's no 'join' or entry point as you'd imagine with something buried in?

I did - it's a wart....

Got some anti-inflammatory tablets and she seems less bothered by it.

I think it's shrunk already.
