We are just starting week two of my girl's first season.. don't think she's receptive yet but she is not herself at all. The last couple of days it has been a struggle to get her to eat at all. She usually has breakfast before I go to work and dinner about 5 and a little snack before bed as she doesn't eat large amounts.
She's not overly keen on breakfast but won't eat kibble so it's no use leaving some down, and I ended up hand feeding her at tea time as she'd had nothing all day. I assume a week or so of this and she may return to normal but any tips? I don't want to just feed her 'junk' food (I don't think she'd turn down cheese !) but don't want her to get sick from not eating.
I'm thinking of just trying dinner and a small supper of extra nice stuff while she's in season but suspect she may play me up afterwards!!!
(she wil be spayed after two seasons as per her breed recommendation)
