Best jacket for Staffy?

My staffy will not go outside without a jacket in even the slightest bit of rain.

I haven't found a jacket that fits her properly, and we usually have to cut rainy walks short because the jacket keeps slipping sideways, or the back flips up in the wind, or she can't comfortably pee in it.

So, I'm looking for a warm, wind and waterproof jacket that works with a front fastening harness. Doggo is quite small but barrel chested, so jackets that fit her front half are often too long in the back.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried an Equafleece? As well as coming in different lengths there are different styles to suit different types of dog including a 'bullie' fit. I use them for my whippets (also utter wimps when it comes to inclement weather) and they're great for keeping them warm and dry.

They look good. Do you reckon I could just loosen up her harness and put it over the top of the coat?

That’s what I do with mine, it works just fine

I've have a number of coats for my staffie boy, and unbelievably he prefers this cheap one. He doesn't like the rain and has a spine disease so needs to be kept warm when out and his does a great job

My favourite for my staffy is the bullie from Equafleece too. They have a staffy measurement (we have 22 inch Staffy size). I recommend you call them and talk to them about your needs - they are able to put zips into the back of their coats sometimes for an extra charge. They are very helpful.
