How does your dog spend Christmas eve and Christmas day?

Mine is thrilled because I have lit the stove - we were both huddled under a blanket before I decided it was just too cold in here. We have had a long walk today. Tomorrow's will be a bit shorter as I have the lunch to prepare. Our dog will be joining in the fun and excitement of visitors making a fuss of her, her own stocking, a left over turkey tea and yet another long snooze in front of the fire (along with everyone else). How much does your dog join in at christmas?

Mateydog will spend most of the day wandering from person to person and in and out of the kitchen looking pleading and pretending to be half starved.
Once he has opened his pressies he will chomp through his turkey flavoured Jumbone then cuddle up on the sofa and have a long snooze till some more food appears.
He might squeeze in a little walk after Mrs Queen has done her bit.

wolfie all the best 😂
Mugdog attempted to eat the ham last night. Just couldn't reach ! She doesn't know where to sniff as prawns on one side of the kitchen , ham now hidden and turkey in the oven. She will have her own Xmas dinner . I'm just pondering why she has more presents than me!

My Greyhound had a long sleep then had his stocking from Santa: new blanket and treats. Out for walk with DS. Will have some gammon later, then snooze around all day till bed time. Taken to retirement like duck to water. Deff paws under the table here x

Oooh, congratulations on the forthcoming puppy Wolfie!

Wolfiefan · 25/12/2019 22:27

Eek @CMOTDibbler. I am now worrying about how wolfiepup the elder will cope with not being an only child. Need to give my head a wobble. Hmm

CMOTDibbler · 25/12/2019 22:37

Grin Best thing we ever did getting a second, even if puppies are dicks. And your elder one is the perfect age for getting a second imo

Sorry to hijack the thread. Blush
@CMOTDibbler you’re awesome. I may come back in a month so you can remind me I have done the right thing.
Seriously. Worried less about having a second child. Blush
