Different dog theme gift idea

My neighbours have a Westie and a Poodle cross with another breed.
I saw some mugs and other kitchen stuff with a dog design - think they were sausage dogs-very cute.
As a non dog owner asking dog owners, are you likely to like my idea or only really prefer your own dog breed paraphernalia?

Personally I would prefer something with my own breed.

Own breed - but then I have a cross, so that rule stops me buying tat because you'll never find my cross on a mug 😂

For Christmas, from the family, I usually ask for something useful and dog related (one year it was a ball chucker, this year it's a dog coat) - I don't know if you can identify anything like that that would be useful?
