Puppy maybe ate some foil...?!

My husband was supposed to be watching her, but that’s another story. Angry
My daughter thinks my 4 month old puppy was eating some gold decorative foil while hiding under the sofa, by the time I got there whatever it is was gone.
Do I need to panic? It’s not hard foil, and it can’t have been much, I got there quick.
The dog is her usual cheerful self, but I suppose she would be while it’s in her stomach, it’s her intestines that won’t like it...!

My old dog was A greedy thief. . She would eat anything. Once pinched a whole cream egg. Swallowed it foil and all. It came out the next day. Whole still visibly a cream egg 🤢

Was your dog big? She’s small, I don’t know if that makes a difference!

Hard to say depending on the amount and size of your puppy.

If you are worried then phone the out of hours vet for advice. It's better to be over cautious than regret not doing anything (our dog had to undergo emergency surgery for a blockage so it does happen).

Just seen your post. For a small sized puppy I would phone for advice.

The blockage in our dog (cocker) would have probably passed through a larger dog with no problems.
