What's this on my Lurcher's belly?

D dog has been to the dog sitter for the weekend. He often comes back with some bumps and scrapes as she has several dogs but he is always happy to go to her.
We've just noticed his belly has a big red patch, there's a small spot on the middle of the red Patch although it's not scabby and he has a scab on his elbow. It looks as though the blood is under the skin maybe?

I’d be getting that looked at by a vet first thing tomorrow , did the dog sitter not mention it when you collected him ?

Looks like bruising, my dog had similar come up down her neck/chest after donating blood, she was fine it & wasn't painful just where the blood had just leached under skin and took few days to disappear.

Probably pranged himself during running, keep an eye on the size of bruise in case spreading & worth getting a vet to check over just in case is anything else is going on or is sore elsewhere.

Some sighthound can have this clotting issue which means bleed & bruise more.

Thanks @scattyhattie, i think it is bruising, it seems to be going down already. he's easily damaged!

A dog bite is often mostly bruising, he might have been in a submissive position.
