What is your dog called?

We can't agree on a name...

Mine have their 'proper' or 'Sunday' names but tend to be called by their nicknames, I have a Hector who is Poop or Boy and Hilde who is Pup-pup or Puppy even though she is 5.

Mine was called something unprintable last night because he'd rolled in fox poo & got it all over his neck. Urrgh.

Ours is a Ted but for some reason my kids call him Dougie or Dougger (no idea how they imagine that’s spelt)

But I would have liked to call him Falcor

Luna, aka lunatic, loony, loopy, lunakins and many other nicknames

We had no idea we'd chosen a "popular" name till sat in the vets for her 2nd jabs with 4 other Luna's. She is a rescue pup but was young enough when brought home that we could rename her.

Minnie (goes by Min, Mins)
Baloo (goes by Baloo boo)
When new pup joins he's being called Hercules (will probably shorten to Herc)

Twatdog (not his kennel club name)

Currently 'You arsehole' for many and varied reasons.

Jeremy and Lucius/Lucy for short

We have Nell, Polly, Aria and Gypsy.
Dgm once found a mongrel, determined she wasn't keeping him he was referred to as Nameless.

My future dog (I will have one someday) is called Coco

Juniper. Which has been shortened to Ginny (via Gin-Gin).

We've recently got DDog number two and I've really enjoyed naming both of them with names you wouldn't give a child. You can be really adventurous! We've always found two syllables easier to call than one or three, but go with something you love.

Not ours but in laws, Flynn. He's a golden retriever aaah here he is! He gets called Flynnster so not shortened rather lengthened
