I'm feeling a bit lost at the moment as I'm having a few mental health issues, so cheer me up by complimenting my old boy.
His name is Jeff, he is 12 soon and he's been mine since he was a puppy.

His favourite toy is a squeaky sprout, his favourite food is everything, his favourite person is me followed closely by my 9 year old DS. He is always stealing my blankets, he smells like cheese popcorn and puppies and he is always cleaning his feet!

I need to take a photo of my ddog. He just had a spa session as I call it. The mobile groomer comes to the house. So he had a once over, brush, wash, dry, nails etc. But the funniest of it all is that he is a Lab but has quite wavy fur, well very wavy once he gets wet. So he isn't the biggest fan of getting dried off so they rub him down with the towel and let him air dry (we aren't in Uk so its hot). But he looks like hes just been and had a perm. Like crinkle cut crisp.

Love him to bits.

@ChrisPrattsFace miniature dachshunds are the best. I have vowed to always have at least one. Although they shit alot for such small dogs, unless that's just mine??

Op I feel I must assure you sight hounds are every bendy. They fold up small - you don't need a bigger house at all!!

Yes, my sausage is also a shit machine. They’re small... but there’s an awful lot of them!

Maggie is a ''my favourite food is everything ' dog too, except, surprisingly kidneys, which my husband lovingly bought and prepared for her (he said it was cheaper than dog food.). She turned her nose up at it....the only time she has turned her nose up at anything edible.

Am at work so photo will turn up when I get on my phone, but I love her for her unconditional love and cuddles, her ability to make me laugh and smile daily, and for being my reason to get out and walk. I love how her needs are simplistic, all she wants are us, attention, food and a comfy bed. She don't worry about work, money, Brexit, Boris Johnson being PM, anything.

I credit her for coming off citalopram after 10 years. I think dogs should be available on prescription.

This is Eddie. He's just turned nine, although we've only had him six months - his previous owners had to give him up and my friend was fostering him for a local rescue. We'd lost our lovely old boy at 16 a couple of months previously and just fell in love with him. He's an absolute clown of a dog - loves carrying his hundreds of teddies around and has the most amazing range of vocalisations in the deepest voice I've ever heard in a dog.

Your Jeff is a lovely boy . When you witness the way your dog loves you and the way they live every day if you follow suit your mood lifts . This dark time will pass - promise x
