Indestructible soft toys?

Ddog is currently sat looking at me with ultimate sad eyes because I've taken his new toy away from him. Because he ripped him open again. He had this new toy 2 days ago, because he ran out of soft toys. Now he's back to having no toys!!

He's got a few balls (can't have tennis balls as he rips all the fluff off and eats it...) but literally nothing else anymore. He's gotten through about 30 I'd say.. he keeps walking over to his toy box and crying.

He's had 8 kong toys, which do better than most and usually survive a week or two.. but I'm seriously fed up of replacing them!!

So please, any toys that have stood the test of time with your dogs? Anyone with an annoyingly destructive KC spaniel?

Just take the filling out and give him the empty soft toy back.

Tuff & Fluff are pricey but seem pretty indestructible. My 32kg lab power chewer is yet to kill one

@TwattingDog Tried that but he'll tear the entire toy to shreds and eat it. He will literally eat anything.. we're working on it

None ever survived my rottie, even supposedly tough ones, he’d find a weak point in the stitching and start from there

I ended up just getting him Poundland ones and accepting they’d not last long...

My dog isn’t really a destroyer of toys. Though he does like to make a hole so he can get the fluff out.

He adores his Rhino though. He loves a good chew on it. And while the horn and label have gone now it’s still going. They don’t have stuffing in.

I sometimes buy a cheap toy just so ddog can destroy it which she seems to enjoy.

I must have donated £484957 to the charity shop buying soft toys for the dog, she loves ripping them apart over the course of a day or two, real smiley doggy satisfaction. She knows not to touch the kids toys but it’s difficult when the kids get attached to the dogs toys

If my rotty is allowed to chose a disgarded toy off dc it never gets destroyed.
Shop bought ones always do.
Not sure if it's because it smells of us /home that she just sleeps with it...

Yes some dog toys are so cute it seems wrong to let them rip it up.

we always use children's soft toys. so old ones we were going to throw out or from charity shops. the stitching is better and stronger as the regulations for children's toys are more robust than dog's toys. they never get destroyed. the hare from ikea children's section is her favourite

Sounds like he needs something more engaging than just a toy to destroy.

Look at Nina Ottoson puzzle toys, and snuffle mats. If he has to use his brain and even better his nose, it will
A) Wear him out more
B) Call him down more
C) Leave him a happier more fulfilled doggo

Spaniels in particular are high energy, and need occupying or they can be a nuisance/destructive.
A lot of people with ball focused spaniels think throwing a ball will wear them out, but actually it winds them up and leaves them is a high stress emotional state.

Get them thinking and above all using their nose to get their heart rate dropping & endocrine system telling them to chill instead of go into a near fight or flight mode.

If he's on kibble, try serving him his dinner in a toy he has to work to get at it, or scattered in a snuffle mat.
