Small Dog Onesie

Does anyone have any recommendations for a waterproof dog onesie? I’m fed up of having to bath our boy after every wet walk as his tummy is so filthy! He’s a long haired chihuahua, quite long backed and doesn’t generally like wearing coats but will tolerate a stretchy jumper, so something with a bit of stretch would be good. Any ideas?

We've got a 'hotter dog' fleece jumper and it's the best thing ever. Much better than the hundreds of coats I've bought. I think it's the same brand as equafleece.

Equafleece. They're not cheap but keep dogs warm and dry and last for ever

You can get equafleece/hotter dog jumpers with back legs too. I just wipe my dogs back legs and front paws with a wet facecloth now whereas before it was a massive job every time.

My dog has equafleece all in ones for the winter , it helps massively and they wash and dry really well ( non bio only )

I have just tried to order one of these and it says my measurements are strange so I have had to message the company 😂

They just email you with their recommended size. I did it twice. Dog is small but stocky. I’m excited for it to arrive now!

My dog also has funny measurements so didn't fit their automatic sizing guide. If you don't hear, call Equafleece - they are really helpful. They will send you the one most likely to fit and if it doesn't they'll take it back and try again. My dog is a staffie cross and her chest measurements etc go with a dog with a longer back than her so it took some figuring out that her coats needed to be 2 inches shorter in (back)length than the average staffie.

Honestly they're brilliant. And stretchy so they're forgiving and not difficult to get over your dogs head. They're the only coat mine will wear happily - he sort of forgets he's wearing it

@MeanLaQueefer my dog will move into the equafleece fleece in a while, but it's too hot for him at the moment, he is currently sporting their summer suit which kept him clean last weekend

Thanks everyone, loving all the gorgeous dog pics. I will be ordering tomorrow. If only I could get him to wear some of those little dog boots too, we could cut down on the baths!
I love that summer suit @Kayjay2018, he doesn’t actually seem to feel the cold too much so I think I’ll get one of those too.

@PookieDo our Doberman will go in hers when temps are about 7 degrees Celsius, our longer haired rescue, will be a bit further into the colder weather than now. We just know the Doberman starts shaking with cold at that temp, so depends if your little one feels the cold.
