Baby and Lhasa

Hey, I'm sure this has been done to death but I've searched and can't come up with much.

We have a lovely 2 year old Lhasa Apso, we've had since puppy. she has a few quirks that we have struggled to "train" out even with professional help she's territorial over food and will beg - she doesn't take just sits and waits, and she's protective of the "pack". She's never bit or been aggressive just growls and barks when people invade her space. She responds well to "finish" and reassurance that the person is welcome.

We are due a baby early next year and I'm trying to think about ways to safely introduce them both. She is fine with our son but he was 11 when she joined the family.

Any hints tips or recommendations?
