Aldi hedgehog dog toy

I know this is a complete long shot and also slightly embarrassing to resort to asking for something normally done for treasured baby toys and not for a dogs toy.

However, my dogs absolutely favourite toy in the whole wide world is a hedgehog with a santa hat purchased from Aldi 2 or 3 years ago. After being dragged around, licked to death and being sewed back up a few times it is now on its last legs. It really is the only toy that he is totally obsessed with.

So if anyone has one of these lying around unloved in their dogs baskets and wouldn't mind parting from it I would be happy to buy it from them or if someone better at ebay searches than me comes across one let me know.

What a sweet toy! That's so lovely that your dog has a favourite toy that's lasted, my spaniel would destroy it in 10 minutes I'll have a look around online and see if I find anything to link you to :)

Thanks threeamclub, I know it is a weird request but he is obsessed with it,he has other toys that he likes but none as good as Hedgie.

When I was repairing it a few months ago he lay in front of me, whimpering until I finished sewing it but realistically it is probably only good for 1 or 2 more repairs.

Ooooo I think we have one of these in dog's Christmas toy box, will have a look tomorrow. You can have it if I find it, she never really played with it hence the relegation to the other box 😁

My dog has about 4 toy animals. The first 3 are rather good ones with coiled (large) rope inside to stuff the body and a squeak and she used to be very keen on them. Then I got her a stuffed squirrel on some offer from one of the dog food companies on line and she LURVES him. Stuart Squirrel is her dearly beloved and is even sometimes taken to bed with her. She has managed to kill his squeak when pulling out his insides but he has been sewn up again - I realise now I am going to have to keep mending him regularly and will eventually be in your shoes, wondering where to get a similar one.

At least I know it isn't just me desperately trying to prolong the life of a beloved dog toy.

He does have other toys that he enjoys, just something about this one he loves.
