BAER testing

Anyone know anything about these? As in if a dog is tested as deaf how likely is it that they have a small amount of hearing? Asking as i have had several people suggest that my dog can hear some things despite my being quite confident she can't. Definitely she doesn't react to fridge door being opened, which I take as fairly definite confirmation and sleeps through all sorts of row, so got to be pretty minimal hearing, if at all. Obviously she has been BAER tested, or I wouldn't be asking this particular question!

It’s pretty accurate, but doesn’t test the full range, so noises that are within dogs’ range but not humans’ might still be heard.
