Best puppy harness?

Now we are out and about I'd love some advice on harnesses. I prefer them to collar and lead for my peace of mind (and her neck) Currently I have a little Julius k9 but she won't fit it for long and I'm not keen on the strap across the chest.
Orla is going to be quite a big dog so I am expecting to go through a few sizes like kids with shoes!
I like the look of the perfect fit harness bu would have to order online and I'm not really sure how to measure her!
Any advice or recommendations?

I have a one year old mini poodle and he’s gone through two sizes of Perfect Fit. They seem very comfy but his last one, I just noticed, is almost through on the strap. Really frayed. Not sure why as he’s not a heavy dog and not a big puller. So maybe look into Perfect Fit but keep in mind how strong it needs to be?

I have a great independent shop near me and the lady fitted him for me. So cant help with that

A y-front harness is best as it allows the dog to have free shoulder movement and doesn't put pressure on the neck. Unfortunately Julias K-9 is not the best as it restricts the shoulders. Perfect fit and roughwear are the best ive found

Oh and perfect fit has a table for sizing different breeds of dogs which is pretty acurate

I ordered a Ruffwear harness which arrived today. Perfect (I got the lightweight one) and very adjustable... Orla has already christened it in some mud :D. It should fit her for a few months at least ..I hope!
