It's time

That's it really. My beloved spaniel who has been with me and my children for 15 years is getting to the end of her life. She has arthritis and now breast cancer. The vet has said to contact them when she is no longer enjoying life. This weeks she hasn't wanted to go for her 15 minute walk. We are heartbroken, but my 11 year old especially so. How do I take her pain away? What can I say? How do I know when it is the day?

I'm so sorry. You know it's time.

My Spaniel is currently breaking my heart a little bit more every day.

Oh, I'm so, so sorry, I had to do the same with my cat last week and it is heart breaking.
