JRT woolfed down stolen chicken wing

....this morning. She swallowed it whole in about 10 seconds when she saw me leap into action to take it off her. She didnt seem to crunch the bones at all. Advice on the internet seems to be watch and wait...look for lethargy, discomfort, vomiting etc. I'm so worried, how likely is it that it will cause a blockage?

Cooked or uncooked? I'd be a lot more worried about cooked

Yes, you are absolutely right. She has just eaten a good dinner which I hope is a positive sign.

Hopefully she has guts of iron that will make light work of that, the naughty girl. It's the sort of thing our terrier would do too. His poohs can be quite interesting sometimes

Very unlikely. A dog's digestive system is generally well capable of dealing with the bones of a five-week-old chicken.

Thank you all for the replies. Advice was to watch and wait....dog seems fine, good appetite, energetic and poos normal, so feeling a little calmer now.

(Young)teen son had sleepover in the lounge, one of his friends brought chicken wings for midnight feast (odd choice if you ask me, choc and cake would have been my go-to). I opened the lounge door in the morning to wake them and let the dog in to help with the job.... and the rest you know!
