and you are both happy, please can you tell m how you made it work?

e.g. what kind of crate do you have and where in the house do you keep it? How is the crate used? Also ,would you mind sharing a picture of your pup's crate?

I have read some good advice about crating online and in a couple of books but I find it hard to visualise how it would all work for some reason.

We are looking to welcome a puppy in the autumn and I am trying to learn as much as possible to be prepared.

Thank you!

With water bowls they do hook on ones which are great , ours has hook on one on his crate in the the car . We got ours on amazon and bowl was advertised as add on extra .

I was going to recommend the Facebook group 'dog training advice and support' as well. Best thing I found! I wish we had read it before we got our puppy!!!

We didnt crate train. Puppy slept in my daughter's bed, then my bed...but as we were going away i knew i needed to get her to recognise "her bed" in kennels.
I slept on the floor in the kitchen and popped her back when she came over to me.
I got a crate that fitted her bed and popped a blanket over it...left door open. Within minutes of setting it up she was cosied up inside and she LOVES it. There was no training required she just loved it.
I feel guilty i didnt get it sooner. She gets fab sleep now and is so happy.
