10 week puppy and food

MarvelPup will be 10 weeks on Thursday and has been home with us since Saturday. Is it usual for him to pick at his meals rather than eating them all at one go? I'm following breeders instructions for how she made it and obviously he's on the same food he was there too.

It can take him a good hour to eat most of his meals. I am feeding him in his crate (door open).

Is it something that will settle down as he settles in?

Pic for attention

What are you feeding him?

He's on James Wellbeloved puppy which I soften. It's what the breeder sent him home with so I've not changed it

Mine was horribly unsettled for about a week after we brought her home. She picked at her food, and I got so panicked I tried a different brand which then gave her the squits.

Stick with it, he's probably feeling very unsettled and has been used to eating out a bowl with others. It's really hard the first few weeks Flowers but he's gorgeous Grin

Thanks @PeoniesarePink, indeed he is gorgeous. I'm feeling reassured. He perked up and had a mental hour trying to get in everything. So happy he's ok otherwise.

It does take them a while to get used to different noises, people, smells and sounds as well as having left their mum and siblings. I cried with ours on the first day as she was so scared and I felt so bad having taken her away... now she's 8 months and a complete hooligan who is currently sat on the back of the sofa barking at birds outside the window Grin
