Dogs finding interesting things out on walks

This morning my dogs sniffed out a £20 note. It’s not the first time they have found money but they also find jewellery, lizards, horse poo and carcasses Shock.
What’s the best thing your dogs have found for you?
(This was £20 in a forest in the middle of nowhere, there wasn’t anyone to give it back to so it has gone into my post walk coffee fund Smile)

Food in general, a large load of mouldy bread that had been dumped, dead birds, chewing gum and a thong there's probably more ive forgot

Never anything good unfortunately! We've had a slightly biodegraded bag of dog poop which she came back and shook about everywhere, spraying us with liquid shit Envy

Lots of plastic things, our recycling bin would have a fair few water bottles, sandwich packets etc by the end of the week!

The spaniel has come back with a mobile phone (too wet to save), a carrier bag of used syringes, an orange dildo...

I'm waiting for him to come back with a human limb.

Other than that just the usual hats, gloves, baby rabbits, tennis balls.

You may already know this but mouldy bread can be toxic to dogs. Not that you'll get any thanks for saving their lives by taking it off them Grin

I was out with our dog and realised I'd forgotten his ball so I said "if you want to play ball you'll need to find one". About 30 seconds later he ran up to me with a tennis ball in his mouth. Tbf he has a good record, last count we had 50odd in the cupboard and have only ever bought 3. The next day while walking with a friend I was telling her and he appeared out of the undergrowth with another ball, right on cue. Maybe I need to say "if you want £20 you'll have to find it".

Usually bits of shoe, carcasses etc. But recently we lost one of DD's toys in the park. A few days later dog finds it in a completely different part of the park in deep undergrowth!

Human poo and bread seem to be the two things my terrier sniffs out without a fail!
