Which puppy training book?

Afternoon all,

I'm new to this section. We have a beautiful 3 month Pomeranian.

Which puppy training book should I buy? I've booked her into puppy training lessons. She seems to be doing well (crate trained, wee's on pad, sits for treats)

Hopefully someone will be on soon to recommend a book.

However, having searched the internet and seen how many variations there are on how to train puppies and dogs I honestly think the best thing is to find a good trainer who does 1-1 and adapts to what you and your puppy needs.

Zak George. He also has loads of useful videos on YouTube.
I have a Jack Russell cross who is super well trained now

Another vote for Zak George. There are so many decent books and videos out there though, so read and watch as much as you can. Hope the lessons go well.

Thanks everyone. I've ordered the Zak George book and I'll look up his YouTube.

She's adorable.

Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy by Steve Mann

Also have a look at Kikopup on YouTube. She’s recently got a new puppy so is doing some new puppy related videos plus she’s got a great back catalogue as well.

If you’re on FB join the group Dog Teaining Advice and Support. There’s loads of excellent resources in the ‘Files’ section, particularly the collection of articles and guides called ‘Congratulations on Your New Puppy’.

Agree about Easy peasy it is the best puppy book on the market - excellent easy to follow advice with humour mixed in.
