Absess? Maybe pop him to vet nurse or something.

Is he a schnauzer?

Yes, I’ll take him to the vet tomorrow. No he’s not a schnauzer, why?

How old is he?
My 11 year old collie has a couple - the vet said they were just warts

@Snowglobes because schnauzers get these lumps ok their backs, look a bit like your photo (and his fur looked schnauzer like!)
