Ear Drops

I think my 10 month old puppy may have another ear infection, second one this year. I have found the ear drops we had previously back in January, do you think it would be ok to use them?

They ususually have details on them with use by when opened, which may be 1 month so worth checking - a good clean might do the trick otherwise, are they a flappy ear breed like a lab?

I think they are only valid for a week after opening but we have loads left. Yes he has floppy ears. Would it harm if it’s out of date? We have spent a fortune on various illnesses since Christmas. Two upset tummy’s, one eye infection and now two ear infections.

I've used out of date drops on Ddog who seems to have an infection everytime they even look at a river or pond. Human antibiotics are generally still okay even if they're well out of date (as in less potent bug better than nothing at all).

There is no preservative so the drug company can not guarantee that there is nothing nasty grown in them after 39 days.
