I am very tempted by a Maltese male pup available locally. He seemed confident yet gentle, playful yet calm. When picked up he settled with me and relaxed although litter mates were playing around him.
However I have no experience of this breed and wonder if anyone can give their experiences of their Maltese puppy/dog please?
It would just be me and him at home [I'm retired now], no other pets or children. I would go out every day for a walk with him as I love walking, when he's old enough.
I have a dread of separation anxiety mainly but realise that can hopefully be prevented by leaving gradually.
