So I'm coming back from shopping with my two children who are 9 and 5 and this man with his off leash mastiff is walking down the street, the dog starts eyeing us up and then runs up to us barking. I didn't back away but stood still calmly and the dog calmed down and sniffed us instead. Man made no attempts to get his dog. If you can't control your dog, have it on a leash, especially a dog that could cause a lot of damage with the wrong reaction from someone arghhh. He kept saying sorry..well you will be when it bites someone..rant over
