Dog sleeping on your bed question

So, I think my pup would be happier (and sleep longer than 5am) if I let him on our bed.

Couples who let their dog sleep on your bed, what do you do with the dog when you want to do something other than sleep, if you get what I mean?!

Do you make them sit in the corner and look the other way? 🤣

Seriously though this is putting me off letting him on our bed!!

Could you let dog out for a wee after spending the night downstairs and then just let it on the bed for a couple of hours in the morning for extra sleep? It works for my in laws on the weekends (otherwise their dogs whine to be walked stat).

Ours sometimes sleep on the bed and sometimes in the kitchen, they're pretty adaptable now we have two. When we only had one she did sleep on the bed all the time (pfd) and we did have to put her in the kitchen to dtd, which was rather annoying as it always felt a bit rushed!
