I've always wanted a dog. We both had dogs as kids, my family had a border collie. After me and my siblings had left home, my parents moved to Ireland and bought a sheep farm so more border collies.
My husband recently retired so it seemed a good time. We struggled to get a rescue dog, and eventually we decided to go with a breeder.
So.....meet Maggie, our 9 week old border collie.

This is Eddie Cocker, who's 8 but has only been with us for just over a month, via a rescue. He's our beautiful squishy boy who has helped us to smile again after losing our very special old boy Archie (in the 2nd pic) in January after 15 years.

This is our Newfie Moana when she was tiny and then about a month ago when she was 8 months. She's lovely but a bit of a dick at the moment, as is not unusual for this age.

Maisie, our rescue dog, she's 12 years old and still as daft as a puppy!

This is Teddy, he's a 13 year old rescue, chihuahua Cross, of some form 😳. My dp and I met him and he adopted us 4 years ago in July. He is also the reason we bought our first house. Best reason to go from renting to homeownership imo 😂

This is the lovely Sophie, a Chinese Crested Powderpuff. She's a bit eccentric, doesn't like walks. She runs away and hides when I get the collar and lead out.

Gorgeous dogs! We have three - the newest is Flora a 9 week old Great Dane, followed by Tilly (Matilda) the Staffy and Lola a 6 year old German Shepherd cross x
