Dandruff

My 7 year old jack Russell cross is moulting which I think is normal for this time of year.
I’ve noticed that as well as moulting, she’s got dandruff.
Is this normal for when the dogs moult? I’ve not changed her diet at all.

Dander (dandruff) is usually a sign that something isn't quite right. Start by giving her regular gentle grooming sessions with a rubber/silicone dog brush which removes loose hair but also stimulates natural oils and gives her a lovely massage at the same time. My terrier loves a weekly groom with the Brush Buster (by Dexas Popware). With other brushes he tries to run off but with this brush he sits and asks for more so it must feel good. This regular gentle grooming should see her with a healthier, shinier coat and healthier skin. If not, take a look at her food and see if it is low quality, full of cereals etc...
