Please can you help me choose between these two names for this little bundle that cam to live with us yesterday?

OMG (first time I have ever used that phrase, he warrants it). He is so adorable.

Definitely Fergus - he looks like a Fergus.

Allegedly 2 syllable names are better for training recall etc.

Thank you all. I won't tell you what he was called when he was running around in the rain at 11.30pm yesterday with a clod of earth and plant roots in his mouth and performing death defying leaps off the back door step.....but it wasn't Fergus....or Floyd.

userxx how did you guess? He's gorgeous right now because he's asleep. I adore him already but had conveniently forgotten how stressful a new puppy can be, especially with two older dogs and a cat that he wants to terrorise play with

Fergus it is! Funnily enough, it's a name we considered before we got him and it is the name the breeder has registered him under with the kC.

I've been reading threw this thread he sounds such a cheeky boy lols, glad you called him Fergus, he looks like a cheeky Fergus to me
