anyone know anything about stiles? Near me the stiles have a lift up bit for your dog to get through

but i went on a walk at the weekend, not far from me but had to carry my dog over the stiles.
should i report to anyone or are the farmers entitled to do what they want?

There is no right of way for dogs, just humans, unfortunately.

As long as the stile is passable for humans then that's all landowners have to worry about unfortunately. I have a problem with stiles with my greyhound, who is neither particularly athletic nor particularly liftable! Little terrier can either climb over, go under/through, or be lifted over.
