The locum who told me my ddog's results meant she didn't have a tumour and the aspiration results showed no signs of cancer.
Have diligently given her antibiotics for a month after being told tumours don't have fluid and its likely an infection - reasoning for swelling under mammary gland.
Locum has left.
Resident vet tells me ddogs needs surgery /biopsy /blood tests as it may be cancer /liver /kidney problems.
How can I have misheard /got it so wrong??
Devastated to say the least.
Any success stories people?
Ddog is ten this year and not spayed.
And very well loved.
