Dog Walking

Hi All - my job is changing a little and I am going to have to use a dog walker twice a week.
I am meeting two walkers this week, both who sound like they have different advantages and would offer different types of walks. I'm wondering whether to use both of them once a week to give our dog variety and see how it goes and also to have more flexibility.
Or would I be better using using the same person twice a week for them to get more of a relationship?

Thanks

The pros of using one as you said is that they build up a relationship.

However, I use two day cares (dog walkers who also offer daycare) to cover holidays. I have a primary one which I use every week and a backup for when the primary one is in holiday. However, to make sure my dog continues to have a good relationship with the back up I send him for odd days every few weeks.

Thank you - I will meet with them both and then see how it could all fit together.
One would offer a group walk which our dog might enjoy but equally may not, as she's used to walking alone or just with one or two dogs that she knows really well. The other would be much more sedate!
She is 9 and tends to walk on lead mostly due to arthritis in her leg which means she can do herself damage if she decides to tear around after a younger dog!

Maybe use the one that would be a sedate walk as your primary but trial the group walk one and see how he reacts to that.

Yes good idea - I don't want to totally rule out the group walk as you never know!! But I do think the more sedate option would more than likely be better for the primary like you say.
Thanks!
