Tissue obsession

My pup is obsessed with tissues! Walking him especially at night means anything white he has to stop and investigate incase it’s a tissues. So many walks have resulted in me having to pry someone else’s snotty tissue out of his mouth. So gross!
Is there anything your dog is obsessed with eating and how have you managed to get him to stop?
We practise ‘leave it’ regularly but there is no treat on earth that is apparently as appealing as tissue

The cat’s litter tray is particularly appealing apparently! So disgusting. Luckily we can shut it away for most of the time.

He does also love tissues but not as obsessively as yours. What breed is it?

He is a Spanish water dog. He quite likes fresh tissue like toilet roll but his favourite is dirty ones.
Just wish I could find something to lure him away but so far nothing is enticing enough.
We have cats too but they are outdoor ones. Dogs can be pretty disgusting.

My GSD used to love tissues, he'd steal them out of the box and shake them. Same for used ones if he found one in the firebasket.

He did grow out of it.
