Mouthing chewing my arm and elbow

I guess ddog wants play and attention when he does this.

Buy what to do? I think it's a bit wierd and possibly dangerous.

So ddog, starts to chew at my elbow properly chew like on a bone or stick. But soft enough so that it doesn't hurt or break the skin.

I've guess that this means give me attention, play with me etc which he gets. But I'd prefer him to do something else.

So should I stop him from doing it? Is so how? How would I teach him an alternative behaviour?

How old is your DDog? Is this something new, or something he's always done?

16 months old and it seems to be on the increase recently, I think but is always something he's done, but it's much more noticeable. and a smidge aggressive, I wouldn't want him doing this to anyone else as they'd get the wrong idea

Take your arm away and give something the dog can chew.
If mine is bored she would jump up and grab at me with her mouth. I turn my back and cross my arms. She is bored then. When she’s calm and behaving well I reward with play.
What breed? What exercise and training do you do?

Mine does it when he's bored. Shove a chew or a toy in his mouth instead!

I thought it was play with me, behaviour which he then gets, I just wanted to double check that it wasn't something more problematic.

Mine only ever does it to me. And only ever towards the end of a walk when she’s not met any other dogs and is bored!
Teaching them to fetch a toy and approach you with it in their mouth is a good way to switch the behaviour.
