Bought a urine spotter torch. Now im horrified!

So I finally got round to testing my urine spotter torch and im horrified at the amount of stains on my carpet! I have a 1 year old Chihuahua whom we have just finally managed to house train. We've always used the pet sprays to clean any accidents we have found but the torch has shown us he's pretty much peed over the entire lounge!! How do I tackle this? Im concious the stains may be fairly old now will I still be able to get them up? Im thinking of hiring a Rug Doctor or will I need to call in the professionals?! Help!

Does your dog still want to wee on it?

If the answer to both those is "no" then I would quietly get rid of the torch and forget I'd ever had it...

Seriously though, there's all sorts that will glow under UV light so it's not necessarily all old wee stains.
