Puppy weeing when back inside.

We only got our puppy on Saturday so I know it’s early days. He won’t wee outside. It doesn’t matter how long I’m out with him for he won’t wee, but pretty much as soon as we’re back in he will wee. Is this a normal puppy thing and is it just time that will change it or is there something I Can do? I stay out anything up to 30 minutes.

Go outside for 10 minutes, then if he hasn't wee'd, then keep him right by you and at the merest sign of thinking of a wee, whisk him back out. If he doesn't wee then, repeat
