Spicy turkey to tempt old dog?

My 13 year old rescue collie cross has been fussing over his food a bit lately.
He has always enjoyed chopped up plain turkey or chicken for his breakfast, but has been leaving it recently.
I know that he likes mildly spiced food, as he loves a bit of chicken curry or similar sneaked under the table if we are having it!
Thought I might buy the Bernard Matthews turkey tikka chunks to give him for breakfast, but wonder if it could be harmful or unhealthy.
Anyone to advise?

At 13 I'd give the oul lad some frankfurters. I've yet to meet a dog who doesn't lose his mind over a hot smelly frankfurter.

Elspeth, he loves a pig in a blanket from the Asda hot counter when I go food shopping!
He has his his head in every carrier bag looking for it as I bring the shopping into the kitchen.

I would go for stinky sausages or something similar. If he's off his food I'd be reluctant to offer anything that could upset his stomach, even if he loves it normally.
