I am taking on a foster puppy for socialisation before they go to be trained to be a support dog for a person with disabilities.

So we will only have this pup for a year. But it is our first time at having a family pet, so we are total novices.

The society provide the crate and food, but not sure what else we need to have prepared before they arrive. Please help!

Also, enrichment toys you can stuff with food are a bit of a godsend ime.

Have a look through this list of articles/guides. It covers pretty much everything you could possibly need to know!
