Odd sores on my dog (pic attached)

I have a 6 month old Golden Retriever and he has these sores by one back leg. Any ideas? I have an appt with the vet booked but it’s not till Thursday so hoping for any ideas in the meantime. Thanks

They look a bit like warts but you need to get them checked , alternatively have you checked for ticks ?

With ticks, look for little grey balls, about pea sized. They are usually near the snout or on the legs. Most pet supply places sell little tools to remove them. Quick and easy. We used on with a tick on our girl's snout

If you find ticks make sure you remove all the tick , they bury their mouth& legs to feed and of left can cause a worse infection , I used to soak a swab of cotton wool in nail varnish remover or similar to make them relax then carefully tweezer them off , they can look like big blisters / hanging from the skin as they gorge on blood they go from grey to dark red / brown / black
They are nasty and can cause limes disease and are more present in some areas of the uk than others ( google is your friend here )

I’ve done a good search and found no ticks. From a google he doesn’t appear to have any of the other symptoms of tick bites. I have the vets day after tomorrow but I’m getting worried now. Dogs are so stressful!

Could they be hives? From an allergic reaction to something he's brushed against or an insect that has bitten him? They might go in 24 hours or so but you could try giving him Piriton if they don't (although you might want to check with your vet first).

Does he have any symptoms like excessive scratching, obvious discomfort from laying down etc? What food does he eat? 🌺

No help from me I'm afraid, just hoping your pup is okay and gets it sorted on thurs

No scratching and it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. I put some cream on it I got for when he had a blister before and it seems to have calmed it. Vet in the morning so fingers crossed it’s nothing serious. Thanks for all the answers. Much appreciated.
