Any idea what this is *pic attached*

Hi, my 23 week staffie had a small blister appear on her leg a week ago, have her booked into the vets Monday as over the last few days it doubled in size. It doesn't appear to be causing her any discomfort and she's letting me clean it with cooled boiled water.

She's wearing a cone to prevent licking it and to keep it clean.

I don't know just wanted to say hope all goes well at the vets.

I am no vet so could be talking absolute bollocks! But young dogs can get histiocytoma which are benign growths that tend to go away on their own after a few months.

I think they are quite common in bull breeds. I would not worry but you are right to check it out with the vet tomorrow

Thanks for the well wishes and the advice. I thought histiocytoma after a brief search, but then the search returned mass cell and other scary results so quickly backed away from google!

My dog has had a few lumps which turned out to be 2 benign hystiocytoma and also an infection around a blackthorn or something.
We had them all removed as he wouldn’t leave them alone.
Good luck, hope the appointment sheds a bit more light on it and try to stay away from Google I know it’s worrying though

My dog had similar and it was a histiocytoma , we had it removed with minimal issues .

Quick pupdate

Vet thinks it is histiocytoma and has taken biopsies to be tested.

Was advised it could regress on its own but if it bothering her, upon confirmation of histiocytoma they can remove it surgically.

Of course no guarantee it's that but nothing is 100% until it's checked.
