Hello, my dog appears to be bleeding from her urethra/ vagina. We noticed this earlier as she left a few blood spots on the floor and then noticed her urine had some blood in it.
On closer inspection she is bleeding a little from her genitals. Only a very small amount. She doesn't appear to be in pain but I am worried. She is spayed and has been since around 6 months. She is almost 3 now.
Anyone any idea if this is normal? A quick google says it is possible for spayed dogs to sometimes exhibit signs of being in heat but I can't understand this if she has no uterus. Could it just be a water infection? I will take her to the vets of course but wanted to see if anyone had any experience of this as well to put my mind at ease. Thanks
