My 14 year old boy has developed strabismus today. He doesn't seem bothered and is his usual self and it doesn't seem an emergency so will take him to vet on Monday.
Any ideas what might be causing it?

Hope he's ok.
My first thought is maybe a mild stroke?

Still no answers. They're doing some tests and we need to take him back tomorrow.
But the vet warned us it doesnt look good. His pupils are different sizes and not responding the same. She thinks it's something neurological.

I'm so sorry. Hope he pulls through. Thinking of you both.

So second vet dismissed the first vet and said he is fine!
They're not sure what caused it, might be a mild stroke like you said, but he's not at death's door!
So relieved. He's been having extra cuddles and treats the last couple of days!

I am so pleased, that's really good news.
Here's to many more years of walks and cuddles.
