Anyone getting a puppy in the next few weeks?

I'm getting a pup in a week and wondered if anyone wanted to have a thread about it!?

We're getting puppy Thursday. How did you bring your puppy home?

We used a harness with a short strap that clipped to it at one end and pushed into a seatbelt socket at the other.

In the car, obviously, with DH driving. If we had to use public transport then a secure carrier on the train, on the floor beside us would be the best option, I would think.

We've been given one of those harnesses. Was your puppy happy in it?

We're picking up our German shepherd dog, Apollo, next Sunday (8 sleeps, to the children counting down )
I feel so nervous and apprehensive, feels like being a first time mum again!

Picking up our westiepoo puppy up this week. We are first time dog parents here - excited and terrified at the same time!!
We have just spent a fortune on toys, bed, crate, grooming things, bed, blankets, treats, KONGs, bowls, emergency puppy pads, collar, lead, food. I think we have everything!?!?

He arrived a week ago - Stan aged 8 weeks. Going to be a big pointer, I swear he's grown already. Aw I love him. ☺

Omg so jealous of all the pups! Altho i hate puppy training so will never have one, older dogs for us!

OP just saw your query re ddog peeing indoors....if she is paper trained just move the paper closer to the door each day. Then outside. She should take to it.
