sickness bug dogs

Both my dogs have a sickness bug. Younger dog went to the vets this morning as it had continued for 3 days, had injection, given antibiotics and prokinetic paste. Thought he was improving but now another massive vomit. Older dog has had 3 big vomits this evening and not kept anything down. How long until this passes ? Is there anything else I should be doing ?

My dogs had been vomiting since friday so was in the vets Tuesday for same as your youngster along with fluids, xray & ultrasound to double check nothing untoward she was also coughing & vomiting water when trying to drink.

So far the meds seem to have helped as she's not been sick, I have just given small meals of white fish/ scrambled eggs and now some sensitive nature's diet wet as had kept rest down, usually she has dry.

Only the 1 of my 3 dogs was sick, vet had said there's bug going about she didn't quite fit, discovered also has partial laryngeal paralysis while under GA

Sorry to hear yours have been so unwell too Scatty. the vet advised chicken breast and plain boiled rice which I have given but both have vomited straight back up. It's a worry,
