Seeking suggestions for dogproof rubbish and compost bins

At the moment I am having to keep the bins in a room off the kitchen to which I can keep the door closed and it is driving me nuts. The dog is a rescue whom we believe at some point has been starved and she goes scavenging in the bins when our backs are turned or we leave the room. We can’t keep her out of the kitchen as the vast majority of the house is off an open archway - the room I can shut the bins in is too small to keep her in, iyswim.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Simple human do lockable bins which have kept my cocker out (he tipped over and emptied bins whenever I left the room). It's just a black plastic one with a silver clip that you push in to lock the lid. He did still tip it over a couple of times and there are a few teeth marks in lid where he attempted to chew his way in but didn't succeed and he stopped trying.

We put ours in a cupboard and put child locks on the cupboard!

Our dog has successfully worked out 2 simple human dog proof bins, plus how to open the door to the kitchen and all ten cupboards.
We have a smaller brabantia plastic bin which is kept in the countertop now.
I don’t put anything like carrots, beans l, broccoli or sweetcorn in the compass as he will root it out.
He’s worse than a rat

We got a new kitchen and the bin is in a pull out drawer drastic I know but he drove me to it
ddog 3 worked out how to open every bin I bought, including standing on the pedal of the expensive Brabantia one. We had child locks on all the cupboards and the fridge.

How big is the dog?

About 30kg and agile enough (and with strong enough teeth) to get into anything she wants ... heavy sigh.

Bins in cupboard under the sink was the only thing that worked for my scavenger ex street dog.
