Dog sneezing?

Hi lovelies, so we have a 6 month old GSD, for about a week he has been sneezing a lot, has a runny nose and was coughing a little but that has stopped. He now has a dry crusted part where his nose goes up at each side. I'll attach photos to explain.
Any idea what this could be?!
He also has a swollen lump on the right side of his top gums, didn't know whether this could be a swollen gland?

I think a trip to the vets is in order, particularly if he has been coughing, he could be feeling really rotten and a week is a long time for him to feel poorly.

I did forget to mention we're phoning the very first thing in the morning.
It's strange because he doesn't seem to feel awful, he's playing etc as normal

That’s good, it sounds like it could possibly be kennel cough or as he is young could be an allergy? Hopefully the vet will sort him out tomorrow.

Could he have a grass seed up his nose? Ours did and it caused no end of issues. In the end he had a little op to remove it. He was sneezing a lot
