Puking bile...

Ddog did this early this morning. He's a show cocker he is 3. He has done this before but not in months and months. Behaviour totally normal and he enjoyed his morning walk very cheerful.
I'm at work and a bit panicky though am I worrying over nothing?

Yes probably. It's quite normal for dogs to be sick.

Just see how he is later on. Could be just a one off. If it continues then see the vet but as things stand I wouldn't be concerned

Thanks. It's a one off he hasn't been sick in months and months just worried about heatstroke like a loon!

I have to feed my show cocker twice a day, otherwise she vomits bile. Vet is not concerned. I'm aware of other spaniels that have this issue.

My dog does this. Vet says it’s because her stomach is empty (hence the bile). Give her breakfast. It happens usually if she gets excited in the mornings, cos she’s daft.

Mine used to do this. Shes a show cocker too. It was because she was getting to hungry by the morning. I now give her a bonio at bedtime and it hasn't happened for years now.

Thanks folks I've always fed him twice a day and we weren't up late. I'm panicking because it's so hot I think

I’m a dog sitter and I’ve seen this a few times. Some of my little guests are more prone to it. I usually give all the dogs a gravy or milk bone, as soon as I waken them, and that prevents it. It’s just bile from an empty tum. There’s just one thing that worries me, OP........

My Shih tzu does it. I think she has acid reflux. She tends to be worse at times of high stress.

Apparently it's common if they're hungry. How often are you feeding her and when?

I would go to the vets just to be sure there is nothing medical. Also, review how much food your dog is getting. They might need a bit more. Hope you get to the bottom of this.
