Time to say goodbye

This is going to sound awful. We have two very old dogs who we think now need to be put to sleep - they really aren’t very happy any more, have several medical conditions that can’t be cured. They are both from the same little so we will take them together but how do we go about doing it? Can we just take them to the vets and what’s the cost likely to be? Just seems cruel now. Help!

Vets will sometimes come to your home. Would be much nicer letting them go on their bed surrounded by their loved ones.

I’m so sorry though. Both at once. Flowers

How very sad for you.Flowers Do give the vets a ring in the morning and they will be able to gently talk you through prices etc and advise a good time for an appointment with the vet to discuss what is right to do.

Went in today on the way home. Have booked them in for Saturday. Burst into tears in the surgery. Least it will give us and the kids the time to spend a bit of time with them. It’s so sad but I think it’s for the best for them. Seems cruel to split them up after so long together.

It's best to let them go together , sorry you are having to say goodbye .

You're doing the right thing, it's the last kindness we can give them, to have a peaceful end.
